The short version
- Run the resume audit without an account. No email, no signup.
- Your uploaded resume is analyzed and then immediately discarded. We do not store the file.
- We never sell your information, and we do not run ad trackers.
- You only create an account if you choose to use the Job Tracker.
Who this covers
Who we are
ResumeBuzz is a resume tool operated by OYE Creations. This policy explains what we collect when you use buzzresume.com and the Second Chance job board at block.buzzresume.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Using the site means you agree to what is described here.
The audit and the builder
Your resume
When you run an audit, the file you upload (PDF or Word) is sent to our AI provider to be read and scored, and is discarded as soon as the analysis is returned. We do not keep the file, and we do not require an account or email to run an audit. We recommend uploading a copy with your name, address, phone, and email removed. The audit only needs your experience, skills, and formatting.
When you use the builder, the details you enter are sent to the same AI provider to generate and score your draft. The draft and your inputs live in your browser. We do not retain them on our servers once the page is closed.
Job postings
Job descriptions you provide
If you paste or upload a job description to tailor your resume, the text may be retained in anonymized form to improve keyword matching across the service. It is not tied to your identity, and we never store a job description alongside personal contact details.
Optional accounts
The Job Tracker
The Job Tracker is the one feature that needs an account. If you create one, we store:
- Your email and a securely hashed password so you can log back in. We never store your password in readable form.
- Your profile and the jobs you track, including any notes or job descriptions you save, so your board is there next time.
You can delete this data at any time by contacting us (see below). If you never create an account, none of this applies to you.
Messages and orders
Forms and payments
- Contact and resume-review forms: the name, email, and message you submit are emailed to our team so we can reply. We use them for that purpose only.
- Payments: paid orders are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. We only see what we need to fulfill the order, such as your email and what you bought.
Keeping the site working
Technical data and limits
To keep the free tools available to everyone, we record a count of recent uses tied to your network address so we can enforce fair-use limits. Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard request logs and runs a bot-protection check (Turnstile) on some forms. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not use third-party ad trackers.
Who else is involved
Service providers
We share data only with the providers that make the site run, and only as needed:
- Anthropic (Claude) to analyze resumes and generate drafts.
- Stripe to process payments.
- Resend to deliver email from our forms.
- Cloudflare for hosting, security, and bot protection.
- Public job-listing sources to populate search results.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.
Cookies
What we store on your device
We use a login cookie only if you sign in to the Job Tracker, and the bot-protection check may set a short-lived token. The audit and builder use your browser's local storage to hold your draft so a refresh does not lose your work. There are no advertising cookies.
Your choices
Access and deletion
You can ask us to access or delete any personal data we hold about you, such as a Job Tracker account or a message you sent. Reach us through the chat bubble on any page or by emailing OYE Creations, and we will take care of it.

Children and changes
ResumeBuzz is intended for adults in the job market and is not directed at children under 13. If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
